IF YOU ARE AN INVESTMENT banking firm, you gotta send out the proverbial Christmas card. There’s no way around it. When Trigon Capital, one of Europe’s best endowed investment banking firms, looked at its client list, it realized it needed cards in eight languages sent to a multitude of addresses all over the world.

Apparently even investment bankers like to save money when they can. Trigon’s vice president asked us for some free advice, so we told him: the solution is a simple multilingual e-card. So pleased was the VP with our stroke of genius, he hired us to design the thing.

The version with the euro snowflake landing on the boy’s tongue was a bit much for the suits, so we tamed it down for them in the version on the right.
