NORM GRAY WAS ONE hell of a guy. He was director of Ski Patrol in Telluride, Colorado, for years and saved lives as routinely as most of us wash dishes. When his knees finally gave out and he retired from the slopes, he found a new passion: flying glider planes.

When the order came in to create a personal ID system for Norm, we were down with that. The motif we created for him blew his mind. The materials helped, as we had his calling card printed on custom-cut plastic, like a sleek credit card.

Norm met his fate one day while flying high in the breathtaking mountains of New Zealand. We still have a few of his cards in our office to remind us of him, and we’re pretty sure he could use them up there, because we know he’s making lots of friends.
