A JUNE DAY IS SOMETHING that most of us have experienced yet never named. You know those days when you’re unemployed and have many things on your to-do list, but you just take a vacation from life and call a few of your unemployed friends over to do the same?

Friend and favorite client Robby Kushner paid homage to one of his favorite days and realized his life-long dream of forming an LA-based production company. And in Hollywood, one of the things that separates the professionals from the posers is a company with a quality visual presence. So he asked us to collaborate.

We created several concepts, one of which, featuring a solitary shadowy chair, won a design accolade and can be seen in the book Logo Lounge 2. The concept Robby ultimately chose was a hand-tooled look that was perfect for a flickering projector on the silver screen. Which is just where you’re sure to see it – that is, if Robby doesn’t take too many more June days.
