IN THE TOWER OF BABEL that is Northern Europe, one organization has risen to the top in the field of relieving our linguistic angst: International Language Services. Having offered language courses in its various locations for years, the company came to realize that the way forward would lie in a simple yet robust website joining all its affiliates and unifying all its products.

The Web 2.0 website had been built by the time we came on the scene. But ILS’s old graphics, which included classroom imagery, were tired. The company offered services, not just classes. Asked by ILS to create a suite of webpage headers, we conjured up images of what you could do with your newfound fluency. Like have a chat around the water cooler or read the local newspaper.

Using the existing ILS corporate color palette, our illustrator brought our daydreams to life. With a consistent look using custom graphics, the ILS site stands out from the tongue-tied Web 2.0 crowd.
